Hello out there !

I started a new blog with my wonderfully talented wife Nicole. It is called Gaussian Effect.We will be exhibiting our work at the Calgary comic con, April 24-25, 2010 coming up in a few months so I started this blog to show case both our work, and some pieces that we teamed up to create. This will be our first Expo so the butterflies are fluttering in the guts but I am sure it will be a fun and motivating experience for the both of us. We have been very busy here in the studio these last few months.. I have not had a chance to post anything new for a while, but here is a little project that we had a chance to work on. this show kicks butt and hopefully will be picked up. Our soccer team did a fund raising event, our first Steak Nite. and it was a great success. This was a T-shirt that Augusto and I made for one of the door prizes. the first official Hidden Door Cartoon T-shirt. and one blessed lady got to take it home ! CHEERS !

We had a blizzard the other day, and I was stupid enough to walk home in it. no one went to work, but I did. it was my first blizzard here in saskatchewan, I leaned my lesson fast. This is a quick painting that I felt to do because of my blizzard experience, it doesnt have very good composition, or any point to it. I just wanted to paint somthing cold.

Big news today !!! on saturday Sept 23. Nicole and I had Jacob Owen, 7 pounds 14 ounces. he looks just like his brother Malachi, mom and baby are both heathly and now we have to adjust to another little fart crying barfing pooping ect !! EXCITING TIMES ! we are both very happy parents

I realy like tanks, they are very intense. this is a fun little concept that i did and i hope i didnt over do the photoshop. i wanted the detail but also wanted to keep it simple. that is a hard thing to do, and easily over done. hopefully i didnt over do it.
